Pleasant Ridge Community Church at 1826 Pleasant Ridge Road in northwest Greensboro will host a fall BBQ on Oct. 1. Takeout begins at 11 a.m., activities for children and adults begin at 12:30 p.m. and the sit-down meal begins at 3:30 p.m. A pint of BBQ costs $9, and the family pack costs $20, which includes two pints of barbecue, a pint of slaw and eight rolls.
