Friends of Stokesdale invites the community to their first annual fall dance Sept. 16, 6 to 9 p.m. at The Longhouse, 260 Christopher Road in Stokesdale. Music will be provided by George Dunn a.k.a. Jammin’ G, and there will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks. There will also be a silent auction of gifts and services from area merchants. Tickets cost $20 per person or $30 per couple.
