The Good Samaritan Food Pantry will open on its regular schedule this month, Saturday February 27 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Stokesdale Business Center, 8500 Ellisboro Road, Stokesdale, NC. Because of concerns over the COVID-19 virus and the need to maintain social distancing, the “drive-through” food pickup procedure we have used the past several months will continue. Cars will be directed to enter the parking lot and drive by the entrance area to the pantry. The usual check-in procedure will be followed, and boxes of food will be placed in cars without recipients getting out. The Clothes Closet will remain closed this month.
Because cars will be lined up prior to and during distribution, please do not park at the back of the building. Please follow the instructions of those directing traffic, and thank you for your patience.
