Northwest Guilford got Homecoming weekend off on the right foot.
The Vikings rolled to 28 first half points en route to a lopsided 41-7 win against Southwest Guilford at R.L. Billings Stadium on Sept. 21.
The air attack was working for Northwest, which wore its Homecoming black uniforms, as quarterback Andrew Ritz passed for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including a 24-yarder on fourth down to Cole Anderson and a 51-yarder to Reid Baxter. The Vikings' offense advanced the ball at will while the defense was nasty. Northwest limited the Cowboys to 19 first half yards.
