The Four Corners Chamber of Commerce held its first meeting Feb. 12 in Stokesdale.
The beginnings of the Four Corners Chamber of Commerce are taking shape.
The Chamber, which was created after the dissolution of the Stokesdale Business Association, held its first meeting on Feb. 12 with approximately 25 people in attendance. President Frank Bruno said the reception from those in attendance was positive and he anticipates 75 to 100 businesses will soon join.
Businesses from northwest Guilford, northeast Forsyth, southwest Rockingham, southeast Stokes counties and the towns of Stokesdale, Summerfield, Oak Ridge, Belews Creek, Walnut Cove and Walkertown can join the chamber.
Bruno said the chamber is in the process of compiling a member directory for distribution in April, so businesses interested in joining the chamber have until March 31 to get their applications in. Applications and additional information can be found at www.fourcornerscofc.com.
The next meeting of the chamber will be held Tuesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Stokesdale Town Hall, 8325 Angel-Pardue Road in Stokesdale.
