Leaders at Oak Ridge Military Academy are refining what they want from an administrator.

Due to mass turnover at the top in recent years, officials at Oak Ridge Military Academy say they are intent on ensuring a level of continuity and a consistent message regardless of who is in office.
Since 2009, the Academy has seen a revolving door at president, as Col. Roy Berwick gave way to Col. Cuyler McKnight, who was replaced by David Johnson, who was succeeded by Col. Bob Rossi. Currently, headmaster Billy Yeargin Jr. is serving as acting president while the leaders at the school regroup and refocus.
"It's no big secret we've had tremendous turnover with presidents. We're not searching right now. We've got to define what we're looking for and how we're going to go about it," said Board of Trustees Chairman Jim Savage. "Billy's the man who can fill all of that right now."
