Northwest Middle School students stand beside their artwork which was on display in the Sandy Neerman Gallery for Public Art at Greensboro Public Library's downtown branch April 2-30. NWMS visual arts instructor Joe Burns said the exhibition included a collection of artwork created by the school's sixth- through eighth-graders throughout the school year.

"We thank the Greensboro Public Library for this opportunity, and Jim Young for being so helpful to work with. We hope to make it a yearly partnership with the library and look forward to any other exhibition opportunities your readers may offer the students at Northwest Middle," Burns told the Northwest Observer.
